Food and Wine Fair
Monday 27th May on Sheldon’s Wines Car Park, Shipston-on-Stour
Come and meet local suppliers of Great British Food, see and taste what’s produced locally and where you can purchase it. La Rocca Wine Bar will also be open for platters and of course some tasty wine. The Wool Fair will be in town also so it will be well worth a visit!
Booking not necessary and it is free of charge!
Top Tuscan's Dinner
Thursday 13th June at Sheldon's Wine Cellars, Shipston-on-Stour
For this dinner we will be featuring wines from two superb Tuscan properties plus an aperitif from our old friend Giovanni Manetti at Fontodi (an estate we have featured many times at our dinners). The first property we are featuring is Isole e Olena which is situated in a beautifully isolated position in the Western part of Chianti Classico. The estate has been run by Paolo De Marchi and his wife since 1976 and they are well renowned for their Sangiovese based wines plus Italy's best Vin Santo and magnificent Chardonnay, both of which we will be tasting! The second property we are featuring is Poggio San Polo from the famous Montalcino zone south of Sienna. This property was purchased by Valpolicella producer Marilisa Allegrini in 2006, since which time she has built on what was already a considerable reputation. Charlie Bennett our resident expert on Italy will be tutoring us through the wines for this evening and of course some great food will accompany these top drawer wines. Tickets ate £35.00 per person and advanced booking is required.

We have come together with Niche Fashion Boutique again for another wine and fashion extravaganza. Come and exclusively view the new summer collection - find out what's 'in' for this season! Also see the new range of hair pieces presented by L'Academie Hair Salon. Tickets are £15.00 per person and includes bubbly on arrival and canapés.
Helen Porter and Friends at 1.00pm – In association of Shipston Proms
Saturday 22nd June at Sheldon’s Wines Courtyard, Shipston-on-Stour
We are always delighted to welcome Helen back each year, she usually brings some sunshine and of course a great mix of music. What better way to spend an afternoon that is filled with music and wine. Entry is £3.00 and all proceeds go to the musicians. Come and support Shipston Proms.
Summer Tasting at 7.00pm

Our Summer Tasting is a bit like our Winter Tasting but with wines more suited this glorious weather we always enjoy each year in England!! We will taste across the globe (at least 60 wines) with more focus on Rosé wines, whites, lighter reds and some fizz. Tickets are a deal at £10.00 and if it’s anything like our Winter Tasting they go extremely quickly so early book is definitely essential.

Chateau Musar (Lebanon) Tasting at 7.00pm
Friday 4th October at Sheldon’s Wine Cellars, Shipston-on-Stour
This historical winery first planted its vines by Gaston Hochar in 1930 after returning from a trip to Bordeaux. With help from Major Ronald Barton (of Chateau Langoa-Barton) who was stationed in Labanon during World War II befriended Gaston Hochar which strengthened links with Bordeaux and has influenced the Musar style. Chateau Musar has an international following and a fascinating history to match. If you haven’t ever tasted the wines from Château Musar this is an ideal opportunity to do so. Tickets are £10.00 per person.

Champagne Tasting at 7.00pm
Friday 25th October at Sheldon’s Wine Cellars, Shipston-on-Stour
Our Edward Sheldon Champagne is consistently our best selling wine year on year and we can’t sing its praises enough. Its quality vs price speaks for itself and we have never heard of anyone who has been disappointed. It has sat quietly doing its stuff over the years and we thought it was time to bring it into the much deserved limelight for a tasting. We are pleased to be welcoming a representative from our Champagne makers who are based in Vincelles in the middle of the Marne Valley to take us through the wider range they have on offer. Tickets are £15.00 to include all wines and canapés.
